Nora Elicone: Teacher

Having grown up in Norwell, MA and residing in Paxton  for the past 5 years, I am very excited to be back in the South Shore area! My husband and I are recent empty nesters as our 3 sons have started on their own life journeys. I am thrilled to be reunited with Mrs. Caruso and Mrs. Bettle after working together for several years in a local preschool. Along with Early Skills Center Preschool, I work with the patrons at the Hingham Public Library.  Both of these positions enable me to develop and expand my skills as an educator of young children.

Karen Caruso: Co-owner/Teacher

I am a native of Quincy, MA and currently reside in Norwell with my husband, Joe.

My educational journey began at Boston State College with a degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have taught in both Quincy public schools as well as a local preschool for over 30 years.

Everyday working with young children brings both challenges and great rewards.  Each time a child counts to ten or makes a new friend, my job becomes a work of art.

I'm happy to have achieved my life long dream of creating a Preschool where children can grow in a warm, creative environment.

Rebecca Bettle: Co-owner/Teacher

A native of the south shore I grew up in Weymouth and have called Pembroke my home for the past 19 years.  After graduating from Bridgewater State College I taught Kindergarten in the Weymouth Public Schools as well as special education in Stoughton, MA.

After staying home to raise my own family for many years, I began teaching preschool in Norwell, MA alongside Mrs. Caruso.  Our passion for teaching preschool age children grew and allowed us to start the Early Skills Center.  This small enrichment program has blossomed into a  preschool program, where children can begin the transition to school in a warm, nurturing environment all while learning and having fun.
